Position: One-to-One Specialist Tutor

Hours: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week

Help Students Overcome Barriers to Education

Remedy Tutors is recruiting supportive tutors to work with young people who may experience social, emotional and mental health needs alongside other learning difficulties.

Students may struggle with anxiety, emotional regulation, low confidence, social interaction or maintaining engagement with education. Some may also have autism, ADHD or other additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths and English tuition.

• Plan lessons around individual needs and learning goals.

• Adapt teaching to support concentration and engagement.

• Create a calm and encouraging learning environment.

• Build trust and promote positive learning habits.

• Monitor academic progress.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to teach both Maths and English.

• Experience with SEN/SEND or SEMH is desirable.

• Calm, patient and flexible approach.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
