An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oracle ERP Finance Architect & Delivery Lead to join a leading global banking organisation. This role is ideal for a senior Oracle Finance professional with deep expertise in Oracle Financials, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record delivering complex finance transformation initiatives within financial services.

The Opportunity

As the Oracle ERP Finance Architect & Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the finance technology roadmap across the EMEA region, ensuring Oracle ERP solutions are aligned to business objectives, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of Oracle specialists while acting as a trusted advisor to both business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Oracle Finance solutions across Oracle Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
2. Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver strategic finance transformation programmes.
3. Own the finance technology roadmap and support the development of future-state architecture across EMEA.
4. Lead and mentor a team of Oracle SMEs, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
5. Manage enhancements, implementations, rollouts, and production support activities for Oracle Financial modules.
6. Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
7. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial data used for reporting and decision-making.
8. Lead governance forums, design authority sessions, and key stakeholder engagements.
9. Oversee documentation, quality assurance, and compliance with organisational standards.
10. Provide hands-on design, configuration, troubleshooting, and support for Oracle Finance applications and integrations.

Required Experience

1. 15+ years of Oracle Financials experience, ideally within banking or financial services environments.
2. Extensive experience delivering end-to-end Oracle Finance implementations and transformation programmes.
3. Strong expertise across Oracle Financials modules, including:
4. General Ledger (GL)
5. Accounts Payable (AP)
6. Fixed Assets (FA)
7. Deep understanding of accounting principles, finance processes, and controls.
8. Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
9. Proven experience in solution architecture, delivery leadership, and production support.
10. Experience working across both business and technical teams, translating requirements into practical solutions.
11. Working knowledge of Oracle data structures and SQL.
12. Experience using project and service management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
