As a Credit Controller you will manage credit control activity within the Business Services sector and help maintain accurate customer account records. You will work closely with the Accounting & Finance department to keep payment processes organised during this fixed-term contract.

Description

• Manage day-to-day credit control activities to support timely customer payments.
• Review customer account information and keep records accurate and up to date.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and agree practical next steps.
• Follow up on payment commitments and record outcomes clearly.
• Maintain clear notes on customer communications for the Accounting & Finance team.
• Identify overdue balances and raise them with the relevant internal contacts.
• Help keep credit control records organised throughout the six-month fixed-term contract.

Profile

A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:

• Experience of credit control and managing customer payment follow-up.
• Confidence reviewing account information and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers about outstanding balances - especially on the phone!
• Experience recording payment commitments and follow-up actions.
• Good attention to detail when updating customer account notes.
• Ability to manage day-to-day credit control tasks in an organised way

Job Offer

• Fixed-term contract for six months - potential for extension or permanent role after.
• Salary of £27,000 to £30,000. dependent on the level of experience.
• Based in Gloucester.
