The school is looking for a teacher who can take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations and creating a positive classroom environment where pupils are encouraged to become increasingly confident and independent learners. The Role As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will: * Take full responsibility for teaching and learning within the class * Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 3 curriculum * Teach strong, well-structured English and Maths lessons * Differentiate effectively for different levels of attainment * Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs * Challenge higher-attaining pupils appropriately * Assess pupil progress and identify gaps in learning * Establish clear routines and positive behaviour expectations * Work closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff * Contribute to planning and wider year-group activities * Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families About You QTS is essential for this position. The school is looking for someone who: * Has experience teaching within a UK primary school * Has a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum * Is confident with classroom and behaviour management * Can plan and differentiate effectively across a mixed-ability class * Has strong expectations for pupil progress * Is organised, reliable and reflective in their practice * Works well as part of a year-group and wider school team * Creates a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment Previous Year 3 or Lower KS2 experience would be particularly valuable, although teachers with strong experience in another primary year group are also encouraged to apply.
