As a Community Warden, you'll be a visible, approachable and trusted presence in the community. You'll get out and about, meet people from all walks of life, build relationships and help residents find solutions to the issues that affect their everyday lives.

Your work will focus on four key areas:

What are we looking for?
We're looking for people who are compassionate, approachable, responsible and motivated to make a difference.
You don't need to have all the answers. What matters is that you enjoy working with people, can communicate effectively, work well as part of a team and are willing to learn.
If you're a good listener, a practical problem-solver and someone who cares about the place they work and the people who live there, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Training and development
You'll receive training to an accredited police standard, giving you the knowledge and skills to carry out this varied and rewarding role.
As a proactive, community-facing service, Wardens are required to wear a uniform and be a visible presence in the areas they support.
Ready to make a difference?
If you want a job with purpose, variety and the opportunity to make a lasting positive impact, we'd love you to consider joining the Kent Community Warden Service.
