CNC Machinist – CNC Millers and CNC Turners * £18.03 + Paid Overtime - Excellent Benefit package including sickness benefit scheme and generous pension scheme. * Hours of work Monday – Friday 39 hour week + overtime * Great company culture We are working with a respected client of ours based in Rochdale who are recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter / Operator and CNC Turners. The Job for CNC Millers * CNC Milling Experience (essential) * Siemans / fanuc control systems * Programming experience * Experience machining cast iron, bronze and mild and stainless steel (essential) * Overhead crane experience as they are big jobs * Tooling for the machine can weigh up to 35kg * Follow health, safety, and quality procedures at all times The Job for CNC Turners * Program, Set and Operate CNC Lathes that have Fanuc operating systems with a proven track record. * Work with all types of materials, including steel, aluminium, plastics, and other materials. * Work with all types of tools, including drills, grinders, and sanders. * Perform routine maintenance on machine equipment and perform minor repairs as needed. * Perform quality control checks on parts produced by the machine. * Maintain work area to ensure it is clean and organised. * Follow safety guidelines and procedures established by the company or organisation or employer. About you * Proven experience as a CNC Turner/Miller or CNC Machinist * Strong knowledge of CNC Turning/Milling operations and tooling * An excellent timekeeper * A can-do attitude with a motivated pro-active approach * Excellent attention to detail * Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment * Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on the job requirements. * Ability to work overtime when required based on workload If interested to find out more about the role in Greater Manchester please feel free to reach out to Tracey @ TRF – The Recruitment Fix
