Sewing Machinist (Flat Bed & Overlock)

Location: Manufacturing Environment

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:40pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 11:00am

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established production environment, producing high-quality products while working as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Flat Bed and Overlock sewing machines
• Following production specifications and work instructions
• Ensuring products meet quality standards
• Inspecting finished items for defects
• Working to production targets while maintaining accuracy
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience operating Flat Bed and Overlock sewing machines
• Ability to work from specifications and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous
