Temporary Admin/Order Processor

Location: Letchworth Garden City
Job Type: Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Working Arrangement: 100% office-based

Immediate start for 2 to 3 months maybe longer.

The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Order Process Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis in Letchworth Garden City.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth and accurate processing of customer orders, ensuring information is entered correctly and orders are progressed efficiently from receipt through to fulfilment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a busy, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process and input customer orders onto internal systems.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness and any missing information.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure orders are processed and fulfilled within required timescales.
• Respond to queries relating to orders, deliveries and order status.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
• Monitor order progress and follow up on any outstanding issues.
• Assist with general administrative duties within the team as required.
• Ensure all company procedures and processes are followed.
• Provide a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with computer systems and databases.
• Confident entering and processing information accurately.
• Able to work to deadlines in a busy environment.
• A good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proactive and able to identify and resolve straightforward issues.
• Previous experience in order processing, administration, customer service or a similar office-based role would be advantageous.
