Class 2 Driver / HGV Driver – Multi-Drop Location: Ware Pay: £16.91 per hour Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per shift Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established supplier of heating fuels and energy solutions. Please note: This is a physically demanding role and involves regular manual labour and manual handling alongside driving duties. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work throughout the shift. This is NOT a driving-only position. Key Responsibilities
Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail and commercial customers
Deliver fuel-related products safely and efficiently
Carry out regular manual handling and physical labour as part of deliveries
Load, unload and move products as required
Carry out daily vehicle checks
Complete relevant delivery paperwork
Follow transport legislation and health & safety procedures
Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
Valid UK driving licence
Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
Previous multi-drop or delivery experience preferred
Must be physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual labour
Previous manual handling experience
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
