Legal Credit Controller

6 month contract

100% remote / home based

£40,000 - £45,000

Due to rapid growth, this innovative commercial law firm in London is looking for an experienced Credit Controller from a legal background to join its AR team on a 6 month contract. Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, you will be assisting with a number of duties including:

• Clearing a backlog of outstanding debt and queries
• Chasing debt via internal solicitors and external clients
• Resolving client queries to ensure timely payment of debt
• Preparation of client statements and account history reconciliations for internal stakeholders and clients of the firm
• Regular and ad hoc reporting of ledger debt figures
• Ensuring that accounts are actioned in a prompt manner and within SRA guidelines

Experience required:

• Credit Control / AR experience within a commercial law firm, with knowledge of SRA guidelines
• Good Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise work and to work to deadlines
• Available on short notice
