Charity Recruitment are recruiting for a call handler for a well-known International Charity based in Camberwell, London. This is a temp to perm opportunity. This role is in the office every day. This role is for an immediate start. You must be available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from existing and prospective donors, providing professional, friendly and efficient customer service.
• Respond to enquiries relating to donations, fundraising initiatives and charity campaigns.
• Process donations accurately and assist supporters with any related queries.
• Update donor records and maintain accurate account information.
• Manage changes to donor accounts, including updating personal details and subscription information.
• Thank donors for their generosity and ensure they feel valued and appreciated.
• Provide clear and helpful information about the charity’s campaigns and fundraising activities.
• Record all customer interactions accurately on the internal system.
• Identify and escalate complex enquiries to the appropriate team when required

Experience:

Previous customer service, call centre, or charity experience

Excellent communication skills - warm, friendly, and able to engage with people over the phone

IT skills - ability to use CRM systems to log calls and process donations
