EPC Stock Condition Surveyor – 3–6 Month Contract Location: Cheltenham Contract: 3–6 months Rate: £30–£40 per hour IR35: Inside IR35 Mileage: 45p per mile We are currently recruiting for an experienced EPC Stock Condition Surveyor to support a housing/property programme in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with experience across stock condition surveys, EPCs and social housing/public-sector properties. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out property inspections and collecting accurate stock condition and energy performance data across a residential housing portfolio. Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out stock condition surveys on residential properties * Completing EPC assessments and gathering energy performance information * Assessing the condition of building components and identifying defects * Recording property condition and lifecycle information accurately * Identifying repairs, planned maintenance and investment requirements * Collecting data using handheld/tablet-based surveying systems * Producing accurate survey reports and recommendations * Working to agreed quality, productivity and health & safety standards * Liaising with housing/property teams where required About You We're looking for a surveyor who has: * Previous experience undertaking stock condition surveys * Experience carrying out EPC assessments * Experience within social housing, housing associations, local authorities or the wider public sector * Strong knowledge of residential building construction and defects * Good understanding of planned maintenance and asset management * Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy * Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule of property inspections * A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What's on Offer? * £30–£40 per hour * Inside IR35 * 45p per mile mileage * 3–6 month contract * Cheltenham-based portfolio * Immediate/near-immediate start available * Opportunity to work on a substantial housing stock programme If you're an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor / EPC Assessor available for contract work and interested in the opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
