We are currently recruiting for a Parking Administrator to join a busy local authority Parking Services team on a long-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with strong customer service skills to support parking enforcement and permit services, ensuring queries are resolved accurately and within legislative timescales.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for parking enforcement and permit enquiries.
• Process parking charge notice (PCN) and permit payments.
• Investigate and respond to customer queries, appeals and challenges.
• Manage permit applications and enforcement processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Process legal documentation and liaise with external agencies.
• Prepare correspondence, reports and spreadsheets.
• Support debt recovery, tribunal appeals and related case management.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous administration and customer service experience.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and database systems.
• Experience managing high-volume workloads and customer enquiries.
• Ability to work accurately and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of parking enforcement or permit services is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach.
