Account Executive – Servicing Role (Existing Book of Business)

Location: Cheshire Salary: Up to £75,000 + Benefits Type: Full-time, Permanent

A well-established commercial insurance brokerage in Cheshire is seeking an experienced Account Executive to take ownership of a high-quality existing book of business. This is a pure servicing role with no pressured new-business targets — ideal for someone who excels in client management, retention and delivering exceptional service.

The Opportunity

You’ll inherit a stable, loyal portfolio of commercial clients and act as their trusted advisor, ensuring they receive the highest standard of support throughout the renewal cycle. Working closely with broking and support teams, you’ll focus on maintaining strong relationships, identifying organic growth opportunities and ensuring clients have the right cover in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service an established commercial portfolio across a range of industries.
• Lead renewal strategy, prepare presentations and negotiate terms with insurers.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, providing clear, professional advice.
• Conduct regular review meetings and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Work collaboratively with internal broking and support teams to deliver seamless service.
• Identify opportunities for organic growth within the existing book.
• Maintain high retention levels through exceptional client care and technical accuracy.

About You

• Experienced Account Executive or Senior Account Handler ready to step up.
• Strong technical knowledge across commercial lines (Property, Liability, Fleet, Package, etc.).
• Confident in client-facing environments with excellent communication skills.
• Skilled in negotiating with insurers and structuring appropriate cover.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage your own diary.
• Committed to delivering outstanding service and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Ideally Cert CII qualified (or working towards).
