Van Delivery Driver – Crawley – £15.25 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Delivery Drivers to join our well-established client based in Crawley.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £15.25 per hour, weekly pay, no weekend work, paid training and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a growing logistics business. Drivers can also earn an additional £15 bonus for completing a lone run.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Van Driver or Courier Driver.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• Weekly rota provided in advance
• No weekend work

Rates of Pay

• £15.25 per hour
• Additional £15 bonus for completing a lone run
• Performance-related bonus scheme
• Weekly PAYE pay
• Holiday pay accrued separately

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Van Delivery Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Safely loading your vehicle ready for delivery
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Driving safely and efficiently across local delivery routes
• Delivering goods safely and on time
• Providing excellent customer service
• Handling returns and unloading when required
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Representing the company professionally at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Van Delivery Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category B driving licence held for at least one year
• To be aged 21 or over for vehicle insurance purposes
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements
• Good physical fitness for loading and manual handling duties
• Excellent communication skills
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach
• A strong customer service attitude

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience as a Van Driver, Multi-Drop Delivery Driver or Courier
• Experience completing deliveries within a fast-paced logistics environment
• Familiarity with delivery paperwork and vehicle checks

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
