We are seeking reliable and professional drivers to support our clients with ad hoc and last-minute cover, holiday relief, sickness cover, peak-period demand, and short-term work. This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy variety in their work, with assignments available across multiple sectors including general haulage, pallet networks, builders' merchants, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics. The Role As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be assisting clients as operational requirements arise. No two days are the same, with shifts ranging from single day bookings to ongoing temporary assignments. Duties may include: Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries. Collection and delivery of goods to customer sites. Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting. Loading and unloading where required. Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately. Maintaining high standards of customer service. Adhering to all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road safety regulations. Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Driver CPC qualification card. Digital tachograph card. Good understanding of drivers' hours and transport legislation. A flexible and professional approach to work. Ability to work at short notice when required. Strong communication skills and excellent timekeeping.
