A leading infrastructure delivery business is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team in Liverpool

Working across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering, utilities and infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful commercial delivery of schemes from inception through to final account. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of multiple projects and frameworks
• Produce accurate cost reporting, forecasting and financial performance reviews
• Manage subcontract procurement, payments and final accounts
• Administer contract requirements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Review, negotiate and agree variations and change controls
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
• Support operational teams with commercial guidance throughout project lifecycles
• Contribute to strategic business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

We're keen to speak with commercially astute Quantity Surveyors who can demonstrate:

• Significant experience within infrastructure, civil engineering, utilities or energy sectors
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial procedures
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts and commercial negotiations
• Excellent financial reporting and cost management capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary project teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
