Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, SEN TA or Learning Support Assistant looking for your next role?

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant in Aylesbury to support primary-aged children with additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties and physical or sensory needs.

This is a hands-on role where you'll help children access learning, build confidence and become more independent. Experience in a special school is useful, but we'd also like to hear from candidates with relevant mainstream, care or disability support experience.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children individually and in small groups.

• Help pupils with communication, emotional regulation and classroom routines.

• Support personal care and mobility where required, following individual care plans.

• Work alongside teachers and therapists to meet pupils' needs.

• Help create a calm, positive learning environment.

We're looking for:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN.

• A patient, reliable approach and confidence supporting a range of needs.

• Willingness to help with personal care.

• Good communication and the ability to work as part of a team.

Experience with autism, complex needs, manual handling or communication support would be particularly useful.

Pay is £100 per day. An enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one, and satisfactory references are required.
