Youth Worker:
Are you a youth worker or do you have experience supporting children or teenagers through youth work, mentoring, outreach, or community-based services? Are you confident building relationships with young people who may struggle to engage with education? Are you looking to bring those skills into schools across Gainsborough and the surrounding areas?
The Role… Youth Worker in Schools
Your experience in youth work could make a real difference within a school setting. We're looking for people who understand young people, can build trust, and know how to provide the right balance of encouragement, boundaries, and support.
Working within schools, you'll support pupils who may have additional needs, SEMH, challenging behaviour, or difficulties engaging with education. You'll work both inside and outside the classroom, providing practical and pastoral support to help students feel more settled and ready to learn.
You'll use the skills you've already developed in youth work to build positive relationships, encourage better choices, manage behaviour, and help young people develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
You'll Be…
We are Academics!
