Warehouse Operative, Basingstoke, Permanent, 30 hours per week

Day-to-day of the role:

• Check and book in incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Store stock in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders promptly.
• Handle invoicing, shipping paperwork, and track shipments for customers.
• Process returns, arrange collections, and manage related documentation.
• Label dangerous goods according to EHS guidelines.
• Conduct weekly stock counts and mini audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safety and timeliness.
• Pack production items carefully, ready for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform data entry and administrative duties.
• File Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and Certificates of Conformity.
• Assist with customs enquiries and prepare shipping documentation.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and uphold general housekeeping standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Comfortable with administrative and data entry tasks.
• Reliable and organised, with a proactive approach to work.
• Positive attitude and a strong willingness to support the team.
• Flexibility and a hardworking, hands-on mentality.
• Strong team player capabilities.
