Warehouse Operative – Widnes – £14.78 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, rotating Monday to Friday shifts, ongoing work and overtime opportunities paying up to £22.17 per hour.

This position is ideal for applicants with previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Picker Packer or Order Picker.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: 07:00–15:00 / 15:00–23:00
• 37 hours per week

Rates of Pay

• £14.78 per hour
• Overtime paid at £22.17 per hour (1.5x)
• Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting manufacturing processes within a busy warehouse and production environment
• Moving materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading goods
• Feeding production lines where required
• Using hand tools and cutting equipment safely
• Carrying out basic assembly and product preparation tasks
• Completing stock checks and basic documentation accurately
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Working closely with warehouse, production and manufacturing teams to achieve daily targets

Essential Skills

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
• Confidence using hand tools and related equipment
• A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work
• The ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment
• Experience using hand tools or production equipment
• Experience working towards productivity and quality targets

Training Provided

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
