The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide classroom support on an ad-hoc basis when required.
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Support students with their learning, communication and social development.
• Help create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Follow guidance from teachers and senior staff to meet individual pupil needs.
• Adapt to different classes, age groups and support requirements.

We're Looking For

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults is desirable.
• A caring, patient and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• An interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
• A willingness to learn and get involved in all aspects of school life.
