RMS have an exciting NEW opportunity for experienced Panel Beaters to join our prestigious Automotive client in their state of art Workshop. Location: Corby Position: Panel Beater (Temp to Perm) Working Hours: Rotating 6am-2pm /2pm-10pm Monday-Friday Salary: £22.00 per hour (Overtime and Unsociable hours at an Increased rate) Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? We’re hiring Panel Beaters responsible for carrying out necessary bodywork damage repairs to ensure vehicles are in pristine condition prior to despatch. Key Responsibilities: To effectively remove any damaged panels / areas of the vehicle in need of repair To remove any dents in panels Repair minor scratches, or making replacement panels Mend rusted parts of vehicle bodywork Weld new or repaired panels in to place Finishing the repair to ensure it matches the rest of the bodywork, or preparing the surface for a Paint Refinisher Keep accurate records of work performed Maintain tools and equipment in good condition Follow health and safety guidelines About you? To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Panel Beating. Must have proven welding techniques What We Offer: All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and waterproofs provided.
