SEMH Teaching Assistant - East London £100-£117 per day | Full-Time | Immediate Start Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background supporting children and young people with SEMH and behavioural needs? We are currently looking for a confident and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a school in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence, emotional regulation and independence. The role will involve: Providing 1:1 and small-group support Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs Helping pupils manage emotions and behaviour Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence Supporting pupils to access learning Working closely with teachers and support staff Creating a calm, safe and positive learning environment The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH Strong behaviour management skills A calm, patient and consistent approach Experience supporting challenging behaviour Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A genuine passion for supporting young people Locations: Stratford, Plaistow, Newham, Bow, Canning Town, Forest Gate, East Ham, Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas.
