Senior Account Manager

This position offers the chance to lead one of the company's most significant customer accounts, developing a true partnership approach while creating opportunities for both customer success and business expansion.

You will take ownership of a large, high-profile account, working strategically with senior stakeholders to understand their challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver exceptional service.Success in this role will come from your ability to build trust, navigate complex stakeholder environments, influence decision-makers, and motivate an internal team to consistently exceed expectations.

This is a highly visible position where strong leadership, confidence, commercial acumen, and relationship-building skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a dedicated account team of 4, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for a key customer relationship, identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen partnerships.
• Create a clear road-map for internal teams, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, becoming a valued advisor and strategic partner.
• Use data, insight, and customer intelligence to identify trends, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Confidently manage complex stakeholder environments, understanding both business priorities and organisational dynamics.
• Work cross-functionally with operational, commercial, and marketing teams to maximise customer engagement and business growth.
• Lead negotiations and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and account planning.
• Champion innovation, proactively identifying solutions that add value and support long-term customer success.
• Resolve challenges effectively while maintaining strong customer relationships and team engagement.

Experience of managing and developing high-performing teams.

• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing complex, high-value accounts.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned to wider business objectives.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experienced negotiator with a track record of achieving positive commercial outcomes.
• Comfortable operating at senior decision-maker and board level.
