RG Setsqaure is actively hiring for below job: Job Title: Traffic Marshal Location: Barnstaple Role Overview We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Traffic Marshal to join our construction site team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely directing vehicle movements, maintaining site access control, and ensuring the safety of pedestrians, operatives, and visitors on site. Key Responsibilities Direct and manage the safe movement of vehicles on and around site. Guide delivery drivers and plant operators when manoeuvring vehicles. Maintain a safe segregation of pedestrians and vehicles. Control access to the site and ensure all visitors sign in and out. Monitor site entrances and exits to maintain site security. Assist with traffic management plans and designated delivery areas. Report any unsafe practices, near misses, or incidents to site management. Carry out daily checks of traffic routes and pedestrian walkways. Ensure all site operations comply with health and safety regulations. Requirements Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification. Previous construction site experience preferred. Good understanding of construction site health and safety. Excellent communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Own transport preferred. Essential Skills Traffic and vehicle management. Strong awareness of health and safety procedures. Clear communication and signalling skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Dependable and proactive approach to work.
