Planning, Challenge and Assessment

• A KS2 Teacher will sequence lessons in English, mathematics, science and foundation subjects around clear curriculum goals.
• The KS2 Teacher will analyse pupil work and use feedback to adapt future teaching and interventions.
• As a KS2 Teacher, you will scaffold learning for SEND pupils and provide extension for those ready for greater challenge.
• An effective KS2 Teacher will maintain a purposeful classroom culture and collaborate closely with year-group colleagues.
• For Year 6 positions, contribute to sensible SATs preparation and transition arrangements where appropriate.

What We're Looking For in a KS2 Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for a KS2 Teacher.
• Recent KS2 classroom experience or relevant teacher training in upper primary.
• Confidence with curriculum planning, assessment, differentiation and behaviour management.
• Constructive teamwork, reliability and a strong commitment to safeguarding.
