Kenton Black are seeking a permanent Assistant Site Manager to join their client’s expanding team in Perth. The company, a respected leader in residential construction, is looking to appoint a proactive Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in delivering high-quality housing projects on time, within budget and to the highest health & safety standards. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop your site leadership skills on a varied portfolio of new-build homes while working alongside an experienced construction team. - Key Responsibilities - - Support the Site Manager in day-to-day site operations, ensuring all activities run smoothly and safely. - Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and tradesmen, managing deliveries, plant and labour to meet programme milestones. - Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks, promoting a strong health & safety culture and ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies. - Assist in preparing and updating site documentation, including daily reports, risk assessments, method statements and progress photographs. - Liaise with the client, consultants, suppliers and local authorities to resolve issues promptly and maintain strong relationships. - Support quality control processes, conducting inspections and ensuring works meet the required standards and specifications. - What You Bring - - SMSTS / SSSTS, CSCS & First Aid - Minimum 3years experience in a site-based role within residential construction (e.g., Assistant Site Manager, Supervisor). - Proven ability to manage multiple trades on a busy site while maintaining health & safety and quality standards. - Strong understanding of construction methods, health & safety legislation (CDM, HSE) and NHBC building regulations.
