Salary: £38,000/£45,000

Requirements

• Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership, with significant relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy, legislation and development management
• Proven experience managing planning applications and delivering projects from inception through to determination
• Excellent report-writing, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work independently
• Experience liaising with clients, local planning authorities and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects across residential, commercial, renewable energy and other development sectors
• Preparing and reviewing planning statements, reports and supporting documentation
• Advising clients on planning strategy, development potential and policy matters
• Managing planning applications, pre-application submissions and appeals
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders
• Coordinating with consultants and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of schemes
• Supporting junior colleagues through guidance, mentoring and professional development
• Contributing to business development and identifying new project opportunities
