We are working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Cambridge and the surrounding areas who are seeking dedicated HLTAs to join their teams after October half term. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills, support pupils' progress, and play a key role in the classroom while enjoying flexibility and ongoing support.

The Role

• Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide classroom support across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to accelerate learning and attainment.
• Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

What We're Looking For

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience within a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
