We’re working with a growing business looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team. It’s a varied role where you’ll get involved in different areas of accounts, build on your existing experience and continue developing your skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Managing purchase and sales ledger transactions
• Processing payments and keeping financial records up to date
• Completing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Helping with month-end processes
• Preparing and organising financial information
• Using Excel and accounting systems
• Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or in a similar role
• A good understanding of general accounting processes
• Confident using Excel and accounting systems
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Someone who enjoys being part of a team and is keen to learn
