We’re delighted to be partnering with a leading international hospitality group who own a collection of well-known Manchester brands, who are looking to for an experienced Management Accountant to join their dynamic and high-performing finance team and take ownership of the month end reporting for a selection of their sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business that is expanding at pace with a strong pipeline of future projects, and will provide an opportunity to get involved with commercial aspects that drive business performance by providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.

Salary - £50,000 - £55,000

About the role - As a Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of month-end management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting, ensuring the business receives accurate and timely information to support confident decision-making and sustainable growth.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Deliver monthly management accounts with full balance sheet integrity, variance analysis, and insightful commentary.
• Produce budgeting, reforecasting, and scenario modelling to support strategic planning.
• Oversee weekly performance reporting, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend any corrective actions to Senior Management and Commercial teams.
• Manage cash flow forecasting.
• Oversee statutory returns such as VAT.
• Mentor and support more junior members of the Finance team.
• Support year-end processes including audit preparation, tax compliance, and liaison with external auditors.
• Maintain and improve financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting frameworks.
• Involvement in exciting finance projects as the business continues to grow.

Key Skills Required-

• Proven month end reporting and management accounts experience.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Good Excel and ERP knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
