Eclectic Recruitment is working with a leading law firm looking
to recruit a Corporate Associate into its London team.

The successful candidate will handle a varied transactional
caseload with a strong emphasis on private equity, advising
private equity houses, portfolio companies, founders and
management teams.

Key duties include:

· Advising on private equity investments, acquisitions and
exits.

· Supporting buyouts and portfolio company bolt-on
acquisitions.

· Handling domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.

· Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, investment
agreements and shareholder agreements.

· Managing due diligence and coordinating transaction
workstreams.

· Working closely with partners and building relationships
with clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Approximately 2–4 years’ PQE within a recognised Corporate
team.

· Strong M&A experience, including exposure to private equity
transactions.

· Experience taking responsibility for key aspects of
transactions.

· Excellent drafting, communication and organisational
skills.

· A commercial approach and an interest in developing a
PE-focused practice.
