  • Good knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering and ground investigation practices.
  • Experience preparing geotechnical calculations, technical reports and design deliverables.
  • Familiarity with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes and geotechnical design guidance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams and manage competing priorities.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience using geotechnical design software such as PLAXIS, GEO5, WALLAP or equivalent tools.
  • Experience working on infrastructure, highways, rail, buildings or other civil engineering projects.
  • Progress towards professional registration with a relevant institution, such as ICE or the Geological Society.
  • Awareness of sustainability, ground risk management and low-carbon design principles.
What the Role Offers
  • The opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
  • Professional development and support towards chartership.
  • Collaboration with experienced engineers across multiple technical disciplines.
  • A supportive working environment with opportunities to develop technical expertise and take on increasing responsibility.
