HR Business Partner (HRBP)
6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum (pro rata)
Morva Recruitment is working with a well established manufacturing business to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner on a 6-month fixed-term contract to be based on site.
This is an opportunity for a confident, hands on HR professional to step into a key role within the HR function, providing day-to-day support, guidance and direction to an established HR team during a period of cover.
We're looking for someone who enjoys the variety of a generalist HR role, is confident managing people and workloads, and can build strong relationships across the business, including with senior leadership.
The Role
This is a broad HRBP position where you'll balance operational HR delivery, people management and stakeholder engagement.
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day HR activity, ensuring the team is supported, priorities are clear and employee matters are managed effectively.
Key responsibilities will include:
*
Managing and supporting the HR team, providing clear direction, guidance and day-to-day leadership.
*
Allocating workloads and ensuring priorities are managed effectively across the team.
*
Supporting the development and upskilling of team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging best practice.
*
Managing complex employee relations cases, escalations and providing practical HR advice.
*
Acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders and confidently engaging with the Senior Leadership Team.
*
Providing generalist HR support across the business, ensuring a consistent and pragmatic approach.
*
Taking ownership of issues and ensuring matters are followed through to resolution.
*
Supporting the smooth running of the HR function and maintaining a visible, approachable presence.
About You
We're keen to speak with HR professionals who can hit the ground running and bring confidence, experience and a practical approach.
You'll ideally have:
*
Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or senior generalist HR role.
*
Experience managing or leading an HR team.
*
Strong generalist HR knowledge and confidence handling complex employee relations matters.
*
The ability to manage escalations and make sound, commercially aware decisions.
*
Experience allocating workloads, supporting colleagues and developing team capability.
*
Confidence communicating and influencing at Senior Leadership Team level.
*
A hands-on approach, with the ability to balance operational demands and stakeholder expectations.
You don't need to be someone focused on long-term leadership development strategies. We're looking for a strong operational HR professional who can provide direction, support the team and keep things moving.
What's on Offer?
*
6-month fixed-term contract.
*
Salary up to £70,000 per annum (pro rata).
*
The opportunity to join an established manufacturing business.
*
A varied, hands-on HRBP position with real responsibility.
*
The opportunity to make a positive impact within an existing HR team.
