Casual Assembly Worker, flexible hours

Location: Milton Keynes, MK11 3HD

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Casual, daytime hours (flexible)

Contract: Part time, Fixed Term Contract

Do you have steady hands, a good eye and a bit of patience? We’ve got some satisfying, fiddly work that needs someone who likes getting things just right.

We’re Universal Science, a Milton Keynes manufacturer that’s been going for over 24 years. We make custom parts for customers in electronics, electric vehicles and motorsport. We need someone to join us on a casual basis to apply specialist tape to trays for one of our customers. It’s precise work, and when it’s done well, it looks brilliant.

How It Works

When the work comes in, we’ll offer you shifts, and you’re free to say yes or no. Work happens within our normal hours of 8am – 5pm Monday – Thursday and 8am – 12pm on Friday, so you’ll be home for tea and finished by Friday lunchtime. It could suit someone looking for extra income, flexible hours or something that fits around other commitments.

Who We’re Looking For

Someone careful, reliable and happy to take their time to get it right. You don’t need experience, because we’ll show you exactly what to do. If you’ve done assembly, packing, crafts or anything else that needs nimble fingers, you’ll probably love it.

What You Get

£13.50 an hour plus holiday pay

Free parking

Free tea and coffee

A friendly team who’ll be very pleased to see you

We could even consider home working for the right person
