Post Fusion Operator - Wallsend, Tyne & Wear Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Post Fusion Operator to join our client based in Wallsend, Tyne & Wear. As a Post Fusion Operator, you will be responsible for machining materials into finished components, operating a range of production equipment, and carrying out quality checks to ensure all finished products meet the required standards. Key Responsibilities Safely handle materials and finished components, following appropriate manual handling techniques. Set up, operate and monitor drilling machines, bandsaws, wiresaws and other production equipment to machine materials in line with customer specifications. Carry out visual, dimensional and quality inspections on finished components. Follow the production plan to meet customer requirements, production targets and quality standards. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment while adhering to all relevant health and safety procedures.Required Experience & Qualifications Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment, including manual handling activities. A valid and in-date accredited Counterbalance Forklift Licence. Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow production schedules.Shift Pattern This role operates on a three-shift rotating pattern, so candidates must be flexible and able to work all three shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm 3:00pm - 11:00pm 11:00pm - 7:00amSalary £26,364 per annum, increasing to £29,345 per annum following successful completion of a 12-week probationary period
