Student Safety Team Member
Location: Newcastle East
Pay Rate: £15.04 per hour
Working Hours: Shifts between 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shifts)

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Unite Students for a Student Safety Team Member to join their property team at their Newcastle East sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual who is passionate about student welfare, safety and delivering excellent service.

As a Student Safety Team Member, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, safe and engaging environment for residents and visitors. You will provide front-line customer service, support resident engagement and help maintain a safe, clean and well-presented property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a welcoming and professional service to residents and visitors.
• Help maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the property.
• Support resident engagement and contribute to a positive student community.
• Assist with property operations and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Help ensure communal areas remain clean, tidy and well presented.
• Work collaboratively with the wider property team to deliver an excellent resident experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Is approachable, reliable and professional.
• Can remain calm and respond effectively in challenging situations.
• Understands the importance of safety, security and resident welfare.
• Is comfortable working night shifts from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Can work effectively as part of a team while using their own initiative.
