Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour depending on experience Job Description: Paint Sprayer Location: Nr Halstead, Essex (due to location, own transport is required) Salary: negotiable depending on experience + overtime + production bonuses Hours: 40 hour week Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. start Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role This a great opportunity to join a well established heavy duty manufacturing company, who are market leaders in their field. Working within a team of 4 and reporting to the Paint Shop Supervisor, the Paint sprayer will work as a team by preparing trailers and spraying to customer specification. Applicants should be available to start work at 6.00am on every working day. Overtime is also available at busy periods. * Experience in industrial painting preferred but not essential. * Ability to paint large trailers or structures and associated parts. * Prepare steelwork for painting using DA sander to a high standard. * Mastic joints and seams in preparation of paint work. * Sand work between coats. * Spraying vehicles to a high standard. * Ensure that all works coming into and going out of the paint environment are of high standard. * Work as part of team to achieve and maintain excellent throughputs and quality. * Maintain a safe and tidy workshop and surrounding area. * Adhere to health and safety policies and point out immediately to the Paint Shop Controller/Production Manager or HS&E Manager any potential hazards. SKILLS REQUIRED * Ability to work well under pressure. * A good understanding of processes and procedures. * Adaptability to working hours due to the nature of the paint processes.
