This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or individuals with experience working with young people who are confident managing a classroom environment.

The Role

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged with learning.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Supporting pupils to complete tasks and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Working across a variety of secondary schools and subject areas.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people is desirable.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Confident, adaptable and professional approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
