A user of VT Software would be ideal for the position, or a strong user of Xero, Sage or Quickbooks.

This role can be a stepping stone to more advanced positions within the company or you may be an established Practice Bookkeeper looking to work with a wider client base, or a company that can accelerate your career, or simply want a fresh start in a company that offers a flexible approach.

Salary Range: 26k-35k for realistic experience.

Practice Bookkeepers are a must for the position.

A minimum of 3 years experience is essential.

This new Practice Bookkeeping / Assistant Accountant position offers the following:-

• Accounting Software:

VT software is used, if you have used accounting software such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, VT training is pretty simple to learn and training is offered. Good Microsoft Excel skills are required.

Customer Interaction:

• You will often serve as the point of contact for clients, building relationships and resolving any queries.
• We are looking for good communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• This direct interaction with your clients can be rewarding and fulfilling and would be part of the role.

Duties:

• The main duties of this bookkeeping position are:

Vat Returns

MTD

CIS Returns

Payroll – training can be offered

Delving and checking that accounts are accurate.

Managing claims for expenses.

Flexible work approach:

• Flexi operation can be discussed to suit – Full Time with flexibility on start / leave times.
• While this is an office based role, Work from Home can be negotiated, 1 or 2 days a week, if and when you have the confidence in the client base and company structure.
