Futures are recruiting a qualified Field Service Electrician on behalf of our client a well known business in the region. This is a varied, primarily field-based position supporting electrical equipment at customer sites, with ongoing training and opportunities to work with solar, wind and battery storage technologies.

Your responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to investigate electrical faults and carry out repairs.
• Inspect, maintain and prepare electrical equipment for hire.
• Work safely on electrical systems operating between 230V and 690V.
• Complete service records and submit paperwork in line with company procedures.
• Take care of company vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Follow relevant electrical legislation and safe working practices.
• Participate in a paid on-call rota, with occasional overnight stays required.

What we’re looking for

• 18th Edition qualification.
• ECS Gold Card.
• City & Guilds 2330/2360 Levels 2 and 3, or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in a relevant electrical discipline.
• Working knowledge of electrical legislation.
• A practical, methodical approach to fault finding and repairs.
