A well-established property and construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager to join its growing team, working on residential cladding and remediation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with strong project delivery experience and, ideally, a Quantity Surveying background to work on technically complex residential schemes.

The Project Manager will manage remediation projects from early assessment and procurement through to construction and completion. This Project Manager role would suit a commercially aware Project Manager who understands the challenges of cladding replacement, façade remediation, occupied residential buildings, and stakeholder-heavy projects. The successful Project Manager will work closely with clients, residents, consultants, contractors, and wider technical teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with current building safety requirements.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will lead residential remediation and cladding projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages.

The Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, cost control, risk management, project reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

The Project Manager will chair meetings, monitor contractor performance, manage change control, and coordinate technical information throughout the remediation process. They will also help clients navigate complex delivery issues, including access, resident communication, quality assurance, and compliance.

The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

  • Prior experience working within a construction consultancy
  • Experience delivering residential cladding, façade, remediation, or building safety projects
  • Quantity Surveying experience would be highly beneficial
  • A degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
  • Good knowledge of JCT contracts
  • Strong commercial awareness and change control experience
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
  • Experience working on occupied residential buildings would be beneficial
  • A proactive and detail-focused approach
In Return?
  • £45,000 - £55,000
  • Pension contribution
  • Professional membership support
  • APC and chartership support
  • Specialist cladding and remediation project exposure
  • Strong residential project pipeline
  • Client-facing project responsibility
  • Clear career progression opportunities
  • Supportive consultancy environment
