School Catering Assistant (Royston) Location: Royston, SG8 Hours: 10:30am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday – School Hours Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to support our client within a busy school environment in Royston. The Role As a School Catering Assistant, your duties may include: Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals Supporting the kitchen team during busy lunch periods Serving pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner Clearing tables and maintaining dining areas Washing up and general kitchen duties Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean and tidy Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures Assisting with general catering duties as required What We're Looking For Previous catering, kitchen or food service experience would be advantageous A reliable and hardworking approach Good communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working within a busy school environment You must hold a valid DBS due to working within a school setting The working hours are 10:30am until 3:00pm, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking for work around school hours. This is an ad hoc position, with shifts offered based on our clients’ requirements.
