Veritas Education is currently seeking experienced School Administrators to support a range of secondary schools across Burnley and the surrounding areas. We have a variety of short-term, long-term and ongoing opportunities available for reliable, professional administrators who can make an immediate impact within busy school office environments.

About the Role

As a School Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient running of the school's front office and administrative functions. Typical duties may include:

• Managing incoming calls, emails and visitor enquiries
• Maintaining accurate pupil records and school databases
• Producing correspondence, reports and school documents
• Supporting attendance monitoring and data administration
• Assisting with admissions and safeguarding administration
• Liaising with staff, students, parents and external agencies
• Using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom

Essential Requirements

• Recent school administration experience within the last 12 months is essential
• Previous experience working within a secondary school environment
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using school MIS systems such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom is highly desirable
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and accurately
