As part of their ongoing growth, they now have an opportunity for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance Team. This is a rotating shift pattern covering days and lates. The Role The Maintenance Engineer focuses on keeping production machinery running efficiently, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery * Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently * Support breakdown response to minimise downtime * Work on a variety of plant and equipment utilising gearboxes, bearings, motors, belts, pumps, electrical sensors, relays, controls, inverters... * Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects * Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures What We’re Looking For: * Experienced Maintenance Technician / Engineer with skills in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. * Mechanically biased preferred (70/30), but open to the reverse. * Manufacturing environment preferred but will consider other industries * Confident using a multi-meter and working safely around electrical systems * A practical, common-sense approach to maintenance What’s On Offer * £42,000 salary * Monday to Friday weekly rotating pattern (08.00 - 17.00 / 16.00 - 01.00) * Stable and supportive working environment * 22 Days Holiday + Bank Hols Previous candidate titles / skills may include; Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Mult-skilled Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Shift Engineer, Shift Technician, Reliability Engineer, Plant Engineer, Factory Engineer, Maintenance Fitter.
