RMSTeam Coordinator

• Pay: £15.56 per hour PAYE
• Working Hours: 37 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Sheffield City Council are recruiting for a RMSTeam Coordinator to join their Repairs & Maintenance Service. This fast-paced role supports the Responsive Repairs, Planned, HM&E and Voids teams, ensuring the right resources are scheduled at the right time to deliver an efficient and customer-focused service.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Schedule and allocate repair jobs using electronic diary management systems.
• Monitor and adjust operative workloads to accommodate urgent and emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate records across scheduling, asset management and workforce systems.
• Liaise with operatives, Team Leaders, customers and subcontractors regarding appointments and repairs.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, resolving enquiries and arranging appointments.
• Update job statuses and ensure work orders are completed accurately.
• Monitor workforce availability, including annual leave, absence and timesheets.
• Support service improvement initiatives and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate materials and subcontractor activity to ensure timely completion of works.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, administration or customer service.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working with databases, scheduling systems and Microsoft Office.
• High level of accuracy when maintaining records and updating systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Experience within repairs, maintenance, housing or property services is desirable.
