Are you confident using MRP/ERP systems and improving production planning and workflow?   If so, a manufacturing business based in Hastings is actively seeking a Production Manager to take responsibility for the production team and play a key role in improving MRP utilisation!   Production Manager Permanent Position Monday – Friday day shift Hastings   Production Manager Job Responsibilities: Managing and developing a production team, ensuring a safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operation Taking ownership of production planning, scheduling and workflow to ensure customer requirements and delivery targets are achieved Working closely with the wider business to improve the use of the existing MRP/ERP system and ensure it effectively supports production planning and operational control Reviewing current processes and identifying opportunities to improve MRP data, production visibility, capacity planning and workflow Driving continuous improvement across production, ensuring processes, systems and resources are aligned to improve efficiency and output  Production Manager Essential Skills: Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or similar within a manufacturing environment Strong experience managing production teams Strong knowledge and practical understanding of MRP/ERP systems, including how they should be used to support production planning, scheduling and workflow Experience improving or implementing MRP/ERP processes, with the ability to identify where systems are not being fully utilised and drive change
