We are looking for an experienced Metalwork Design Coordinator!!

The position involves working together with estimators and their bid team - understanding future projects, providing expert advice.

Salary: £43,000 - £47,000 per annum DOE

Basildon, Essex

Permanent / Full time position

Your role is to be responsible for pre-production, producing drawings, details for manufacture and providing metalwork technical support overseeing all projects.

·Identify potential challenges early in each project.

·Actively provide design resolution for details encountered within the design/manufacture process.

·Produce comprehensive production packs for the metalwork department.

·Schedule materials and draft CNC components.

·Liaise with the Metalwork Manager ensuring most cost effective methods are undertaken.

·Generate Requisitions for procurement of materials, component parts and sundries.

·Update and manage the company metalwork project trackers.

What we are looking for from you:

·Fluent in AutoCAD 2D (minimum) working to a high level of detail and resolution

·Excellent IT Skills, (Microsoft Office).

·Attention to detail and a strong desire for accuracy.

·Good organisational skills.

·A flexible and proactive approach to work.

·Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

·Experience of modelling production metalwork specifically using Autodesk Inventor would be an advantage.
