The company is looking for an organised and proactive Stores Coordinator / Storeman to take responsibility for its day-to-day stores operations, ensuring materials, equipment and stock are organised and readily available for upcoming projects. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organised, managing stock and ensuring engineers have the correct parts and materials when required. You will be responsible for handling deliveries, preparing equipment and maintaining accurate stock records using computer systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Storeman or Stores Coordinator who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work and wants a stable, long-term position with flexible working hours. Your Role As A Stores Coordinator Will Include: * Organising and maintaining the day-to-day running of the warehouse and stores * Managing goods in, checking deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records * Picking, organising and preparing parts, materials and equipment for upcoming projects * Using computer systems and spreadsheets to manage stock and documentation * Liaising with engineers and project teams to ensure materials are available when required * Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised while managing daily workloads independently The Successful Stores Coordinator Will Have: * Previous experience as a Storeman, Stores Coordinator, Warehouse Operative or Stock Controller * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail * Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and stock management systems * Experience handling goods in, stock control and preparing materials for dispatch * Ability to work independently, use initiative and take responsibility for daily tasks * Experience within an engineering, electrical or construction environment would be advantageous If you are interested in this role, please get in touch with Tom Jeffries quoting reference TJA106.
